Some ideas need more than a creator with a phone. Production for social is a different craft from film production: shot for vertical, cut for the first second, batched so one day yields a quarter of content.

Why this matters

Traditional production delivers one beautiful asset and a very long invoice

A film crew brief produces a hero film in landscape, a six-week timeline and no versions. Social needs the opposite: many assets, quickly, in the aspect the platform serves, in the languages the audience speaks, with the hook designed before the lens is chosen.

  • 01Landscape masters that get cropped into meaningless verticals
  • 02One asset per shoot day, with no variants to test
  • 03Subtitles and language versions treated as post-production afterthoughts

How the work actually runs.

AApproach

  1. 01

Design the shoot around the edit

We plan every deliverable, aspect and language version first, then build the shot list to serve them. Coverage decisions on the day are made against the delivery list, not the storyboard.

  2. 02

    Batch for volume

One studio day, several products, several creators, dozens of assets. Batching is what makes performance-grade volume affordable.

  3. 03

    Shoot vertical natively

Framing, blocking and text-safe areas are built for 9:16 from the first setup, with a 16:9 pull where it is genuinely needed rather than the other way round.

  4. 04

    Direct the hook

The opening is rehearsed and captured in variants, because it is the part of the asset that decides everything downstream.

  5. 05

    Finish in every language

Subtitles, on-screen text, voiceover and sound handled per language as part of post, not as a later request.

Questions we get asked.

DQuestions

  • Both, and the choice is a budget and craft decision. Creator-shot content carries authenticity and costs less; studio production gives control over product, food and colour. Most campaigns use a mix.
